Last night Monica came over and we decided to hit up Blockbuster to get some movies. Now I like movies like Anaconda, Lake Placid, and Frogs. Of course we watched her movie first, because she gets her way more than I'd like to admit. I have to say the movie wasn't really that bad for kids movie. I'm not sure if it was really that funny, or if the beers that I was drinking made it that much more humorous. But yeah it's quite good.....

Since I was a little kid, I never really thought about it too much, but then some stranger things started happening. Some morning the heat would be cranked all the way up, others it would be turned off. Things from my room would be missing for a couple of days, and then would turn up in the storage room. There was one time I swear that I woke up in the middle of the night, and saw some one walking across the hall, and then into my room. That was pretty much the last straw, and I was moved downstairs to sleep in the other bedroom. My sister got booted out of her room, and started sleeping in my moms. We ended up hearing noises coming from upstairs later on, and basically just stayed the fuck out of the top floor for the rest of our stay there.

There's been some weird shit going on at the place I'm living at currently. Lights turning off by themselves, cabinets opening, and strange noises in the middle of the night. This weekend was a pretty busy one. Monica and I went to see Road to Perdition on Friday, even though I really wanted to see Eight Legged Freaks. When you have to choose between character development or mutated spiders, obviously mutated spiders wins every time. But getting laid is way more important that spiders, so Road to Perdition it was. It's a good movie, and on par with other gangster flicks, so check it out if you're into that type of stuff. Austin Powers opens this week, so I'm sure I'll be seeing that at some point.

Another bright spot coming up is my trip to Fenway to see the Sox play on Sunday. It's been more years than I can count since I've seen a Sox game. I'll try and get some pictures for a future update.

Yesterday the woman and I took a trip up to Skinner mountain. It's kind of gay but we brought some food up there and had a picnic. Every once in awhile it wont kill you to do something to make the woman happy, plus normally girls are very good at reciprocating your generosity with their special talents.

On Wednesday Monica and I went to the fireworks in good ole Westfield. They were decent, but they seemed a little weak compared to what I was used to. See back home in Orleans, there's this religious cult, that spends about a million dollars on their firework display. Now these religious nut jobs aren't really useful during the rest of the year, but once the 4th comes they really do put on a good show. So me and Monica got to spend some quality time together which was alright, we even got to take a ride in a hot balloon. Which I'm sure you care nothing about.

The next day we left for the Cape wicked early in the morning. The drive was pretty easy and we made really good time. So I popped in my old restaurant, stole some ice and saw a few people. Now the funny thing was that Monica never knew about my OUI that I got a few months back. So as we're talking with my peeps, every one was asking if I'm doing better, and other questions eluding to what happened last time. I played it off pretty well I thought, and then we headed to the beach. 

Now I miss the Cape sometimes, but after spending the day on the beach and in the ocean, I almost didn't have the willpower to drive back to the land of cows, and ugly farmer's daughters. But after we were both burned to a crisp, we took off and headed out for dinner. We went back to the place where I worked and sat down at one of the booths... Now when the waitress came up she asked in these exact words 'Now you're not going to be getting a drink tonight will you??' I told her of course, and sent her on her merry way. By this time Monica knew something was up, and I figured we were far along in our relationship that I could tell her. She took it pretty well, and basically told me that if I ever fucked up like that again, she would take off. But if it does ever happen again, I'll be the one getting taken away, so it shouldn't really be a problem.

That night we went down to P-Town, and watched the fireworks there. We ran into some more of my friends there and had a really good time. It sucked when we had to leave, but spending the day there was totally worth it.

I bet all you people are thinking things are pretty much hunky dory though huh? The fact of the matter is that me and Monica haven't had 'the talk' yet, so I guess we're not officially a couple yet. Of course I made the same mistake with Karen. Although we're not officially together, I'm sure she thinks we are, especially since we've spent like the last 5 days together. Since I'm the same position as last time, I figure I should be mature, and not see other chicks. We'll see if my little plan backfires, or if it works for me. I'll keep you posted.
